Here’s a list of costume party themes and titles to get you started with your celebrations. You may notice that some of the themes overlap, though one title may seem more catchy to you than another, or you may even come up with a new name yourself!
Take a look at the venue, consider how you could best dress it, and let the theme come rolling off your tongue.
- or think about what you’ve always wanted to wear and create the party around that!

Rubics Cube – I like this one because it involves guest interaction. The idea is that you come dressed in items of clothing in different colours, and by the end of the night you leave dressed in one colour. Probably a good costume to source from a second hand store. I don’t fancy the chances of getting al you hire gear back in time to avoid late fees.
Romance Novels- come dressed as you favourite romance novel character or book cover (look, I know it’s silly, but it’s funny too, isn’t it?) – imagine, a room full of fabulous Fabios! And his beautiful face
